Kongsberg Movable windlass (FPSO)

In a movable windlass installation each of the mooring lines has its own fairlead and stopper. A single windlass moves along the frame to tension each chain in turn, the stoppers are actuated and locked on to the chain, transferring the mooring loads to the hull. The movable windlasses can be delivered with a pull and speed capacity to suit customers needs.
