Die AR/AX-Serie sind Brunvolls Azimuth-Thruster für Offshore-Versorger, Spezialschiffe und DP-Schiffe. AR = Retractable (einziehbar), AX = Fixed (fest). Azimuth-Thruster können 360° drehen und damit sowohl als Antrieb als auch als Manövrieranlage dienen. Brunvoll-Azimuth-Thruster sind auf zahlreichen norwegischen Offshore-Versorgern (PSV, AHTS) der letzten 30 Jahre installiert.
