Bitzer ist ein deutscher Kältekompressor-Hersteller aus Sindelfingen, gegründet 1934, und einer der weltgrößten unabhängigen Hersteller. Die Ecoline-Serie ist die aktuelle Standard-Baureihe für semi-hermetische Kolbenkompressoren, die auf Schiffen in Provisions-Kühlanlagen, AC-Systemen und Cargo-Kühlung (Reefer) eingesetzt wird. DNV/GL, LR, BV marine-zertifiziert. Bitzer ist zusammen mit Copeland/Emerson der Marktführer im Marine-Kältekompressor-Segment.
