Burckhardt Compression ist ein Schweizer Premium-Kompressor-Hersteller aus Winterthur, gegründet 1844. Die Laby Marine Serie nutzt das patentierte Labyrinth-Kolbendichtungsprinzip für berührungsfreie, ölfreie Verdichtung. Primär für LNG/LPG-Carrier als Boil-Off-Gas-Kompressor (BOG), aber auch für Hochdruck-Startluft und Prozessgas. Hochpreisig, aber extrem langlebig. De-facto-Standard auf LNG-Carriern für BOG-Handling.
